dzeko is a winner the man single-handedly made Wolfsburg league champions and was a top scorer season after season, he scored 3 times against united in the champions league, I really don't have to tell you cause you obviously have youtube and you've seen him lift that trophy and being nominated for ballon d'or finishing up there with the best, havent seen any other city player even near him on that list tbf... Do I need to go on?

Dzeko will fit in and will come good. The next 2 weeks will give him the best part of 3 games away from the Prem with 2x Aris and Notts County to come. This should give him the chance to boost his confidence and most of all give him the opportunity to play with his team mates more than he has so far. Very few players come into the Prem and step up to the plate immediately. Give him time and have faith.

So, just three new players then.
There has certainly been a severe miscalculation in the transfer window that just closed.
Mancini knew full well Mario Balotelli was not going to be fit for the whole of this month at the start of the window. He has offloaded Santa Cruz and Adebayor. Balotelli will not be 100% fit till mid March at the very earliest.
So we have a newly introduced centre forward struggling to acclimatize in the PL, primarily because we haven't got not only any meaningful width but possibly more importantly a recognized strike partner to share the burden up front.
I cannot at this moment say whether or not he will make the grade. That will depend on him getting the support from Roberto Mancini via a more fluid attacking strategy whereby he receives a service that he would find acceptable. One that resembled the kind of link up play he experienced at Wolfsburg. Something that is lacking at the moment. He must be very frustrated having to feed on scraps. With Bellamy elsewhere too, the only alternative we have is Jo. Which is mighty depressing. RM should have picked up a temp loan signing CF.
Tevez and Silva are quality AMF's of that there is no doubt. Enough creativity there. We really miss Adam Johnson. We need to reintroduce SWP to offer something different.
Time for tactical changes Roberto or we are gonna be caught by Spurs for that 4th place.
For me, failure to get CL qualification would be hard to take. The ramifications for our Summer transfer campaign will devastating.
