I'm going to bookmark this thread so I can name, quote and shame the numpties when Dzeko finds his feet and starts banging them in for fun.

All you numpties have been warned. Carry on talking bollocks all you want - but all your garbage talk is going to be shoved right back down your throats.

Tick, tock....

Dzeko is and will be the centre forward we have waited for too many years, someone who will score 20+ a season just give him sometime to adjust. Even Torres is taking time to adjust into Chelsea system and he has been in the Premier league a lot longer than Dzeko, some City fans really are becoming arrogant!!!

Always wanted Dzeko BUT without a winger ie AJ i think we loose 50% of his ability - really want to see AJ back but goona be a dog trying to fit in Silva - Tevez and a few others

True, and the tricky part is our best crosser of the ball on the team (Milner) is being groomed for the center of the park. CM is his best position imo, but its just something to think about.

AJ cuts in and trys to shoot or pass 90% of the time. And I don't think Milner crosses nearly as much as Dzeko would need. The system and the players arnt conducive to Dzeko's strengths.

This is why we need Richards and Kolarov providing the width on the flanks. If these two can send in the cross (granted, Micah needs a little work, but I think Kolarov is already there) then Dzeko will have all the crossing he needs.

Also, let us not think of Dzeko as solely an air merchant. He is more than that.]

Also I think the reason that milner didnt cross more is because all we had was tevez in there. it used to infuriate me to no end to see us crossing in to nobody. but now we have somebody there

The reason he cuts in is because Mancini players left footed players on the right and right footed players on the left in the maine - this stylee forces players to cut inside onto their stronger foot - just swop the players over -

Also think of the times Dzeko has looked good. His play against Wolves and his goal at Notts County. They were times when we'd managed to stretch teams rather than tip-tapping it around the edge of the box around nine defenders.

It's a team thing; we need to get him in behind more - he'll do pant-shitting damage then.

i agree jo would of scored it but he didn't because dzeko was in the better position than him
Jo was in the position he was supposed to be in trailing the play in case the cross went past the primary target. All three players did what they were supposed to do and we got the proper result from the play.

Cant fault Dzeko - his form has been a little patchy but not through want of trying or effort his part - personally i think Bobby to get the best out of him has to play Tevez close (dont think Dzeko does well as a lone striker) and he needs someone to put decent balls into the box - also it was a big big fookin shock to come to the prem where the physicality of the game seemed to cause him problems - but he seems to be knuckling down and trying to improve himself

All in all for me at least a very happy bunny
