Dzeko: No pressure from Tevez return

of course there is no pressure due edin is fighting with balo for position, and tevez will fight with aguero...

dzeko is finding form again, and i predict 12 more goals this season for city, and....

at least one goal tomorrow against Brazil for national team!!!

Cheers.

Great post from Phil Neal's Gastric Rumblings as a comment on the MEN article with same title as OP.

"For once I actually believe the media hype: Tevez the Unforgivable is playing a part in City's fortunes without even kicking a ball. Our strikers seem to be aware of his presence - it's not hard to envisage how Mancini is masterfully exploiting this - and are giving that extra 10%. In fact, what an ideal situation this is: We don't even need to see Tevez (for now) but are benefitting indirectly from the added competition that his return has provided. If and when he pulls on the blue shirt again we might see him reinstate himself, but for the time being his role is no more than to keep the others on their toes. Which is just about perfect for all concerned!"

Pretty much bang on IMHO.

Give Tevez a chance and this may happen, don't and it still might eh?.............<a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/user/colinjohnrudd?feature=mhee#p/u/0/yDu8EBp9R-4" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/user/colinjohnru ... Du8EBp9R-4</a>

Let's not go so far to say that Tevez can't clean Edin's boots.

Tevez is a marvelous player - its just that he has a toxic personality and can easily create a bad atmosphere in the key moments of the season. That's really his problem.

I wouldn't say that Edin is any better than Tevez (nor any worse). They are just two completely different players. However, City should be careful with Tevez as this guy could damage us with his character. His playing skills are amazing.

Seriously , i will never support tevez purely on a basis that Aguero scored 21 goals in domestic games, Dzeko scored 17 and Balo 13......why rock the boat

"oooOO Edin DzekooOO" song in the stands last night, during the match against Brazil.
