Heard a whisper that if Dzeko goes to Milan then we could be in for Carroll refuelling the rumours that did the rounds last season.
Hope its not true Edin to me is a far better option Carrolls reputation has grown the last few weeks on one good goal for England while Dzeko did enough last year to earn him a place in our squad esp after QPR

I wouldn't have a problem with that,i wanted Carroll when he was initially up for grabs.
Overall i think he has more to his game than Dzeko, however, the question remains, are either suitable for the football we play? Cavani would still be my preference.

Dzeko is much more skillful. Not saying Carroll is rubbish, as he does have some qualities, but to say hes better than Dzeko is daft in my opinion.

The more I watch the review of last season, the more I realise what a vital player Edin was for us. Caroll is just a big geordie jessie who would only be worth a punt if we could get him for 10million, but I reckon the dippers will be after at least twice that and the long haired ponce probably thinks he's worth 100k a week.

Definitely Dzeko.

He's a 6ft 4 guy he can move; there aren't many strikers of that ilk in Europe who can take on a man. The more I think about this in general, the more I want us to keep him.

I do quite like Andy Caroll as a forward, but my God, he could not do this:

no he couldn't, he comes NOWHERE near Edin Dzeko as a footballer or as a man - Edin scored almost a goal every other game, he was also able to change games when he came on (Chelsea at home, QPR at home) - Carroll is a donkey who also rarely scores, and is a horrible twat to go with it, fucking nonsense story to end all nonsense stories

I really hope this happens. Carroll's movement, touch, control, vision, turn of pace, and all round ability is tailor made for our short, intricate passing game. I imagine David Silva can't wait to play on the same stage as Andy, bring it on I say.

PMSL. That might be too subtle for some on here ...
