Dzeko to Chelsea

Re: Dzeko to Chelsea

@City_Watch -Daily Star: Chelsea are willing to pull out of the race for Napoli hitman Edinson Cavani if City agree to sell Edin Dzeko to them.

Re: Dzeko to Chelsea

Dangerous policy for us, I would rather we sell Dzeko abroad than a direct rival.

But then we could end up with a replacement no better, or plain worse, and Cavani goes to Chelsea.

This way we offload a very good striker to get a great one and our rivals take a very good striker instead of a great one.

It's not like players suddenly become twice as good if sold to a rival, you just notice the impact more.

Still a bit silly for us as he will be very useful for a Mourinho side. There are no doubts that he will be sold this season though, hopefully either to Napoli or one of the better Bundersliga side.

I'd be more than happy to see dzeko go Chelsea rather that than them buying an actually good player. Need to have more about you than just goals and in my opinion take away his goals and your left with a very average player.

Goater new how to find the back of the net but you was never gonna see him play cl football. Sell him and effectively weaken the buying team, It's win win.

To be honest if I was him I'd be desperate for Napoli. Surrounded by creative midfielders in a team he'd constantly run onto the ball with a very good manager (bias aside) who really wants him, for a team that makes saints of their players, he'd never get dropped and he'd have a real chance of picking up silverware. He could step right into Cavani's shoes and enjoy a really smooth easy exit from City.
