His goals in the title run-in in 2014 will not be forgotten. Everton, Villa, Palace.
Nor will his goal vs QPR in THAT game.
Nor will his equalizer at Notts County on the way to the FA Cup.
Nor will his 4 goal haul at White Heart Lane.
Nor will his quality derby performances.

Ill miss Dzeko thanks for everything ..

Such a streaky player. When he was on he could absolutely carry the team - as in the 2014 run-in.

I always read him as the type who got frustrated when he wasn't "hot" and let it get to him. Rather than being lazy or having a bad attitude. I could be wrong, but whatever. I'll miss him when he is gone and I hope for the best for him.

Personally, I don't see City going into a season with Kelechi as the 3rd choice striker. If/when both Dzeko and Jovetic leave I reckon we'll be in for a new forward. At a guess I would say Lacazette.

I don't think we will buy another striker personally. I presume we'll largely play one up front next season, so three strikers should suffice. Sterling could play there too if necessary.

Think £16m is a good deal for Dzeko, and hopefully pacifies some of those who think Begiristain is a soft touch who always sells cheaply. He's got good prices now for the likes of Negredo, Rodwell, Garcia and Dzeko.

Best of luck to Dzeko in Serie A. He's played an important part in our recent successes, and scored some vital goals along the way. His inconsistency was frustrating mind you.

If he does leave, then he should be spoken about in the same breath as all city favourites; Sergio, Dave, yaya, kompany etc. He took the move and excelled, he scored huge, huge goals, top players do that.

He wasn't as aesthetically pleasing to watch than some, but he's been an absolute legend of City, and deserves the status. Some city 'fans', as usual, have had to have a boo boy and invariably he was on the end of it.

TBH, for what dzeko has done, his qualities which are comparable to only lewendowski, IMO, £16m is very cheap. He guarantees goals, and that alone should guarantee over £20m.

Frustrating player, and I wish him every success in new team wherever that is. Never be forgotten, that equaliser against QPR especially. :-)
