Dzeko?

I am taking Dzeko's comments with a large pinch of salt. And for any doubters on whether his interview will having any bearing on the De Bruyne transfer, don't rule out Vinny's influence and Denayer's contract extension.

No he hasnt been monumental. He has scored some very important goals but barring one game has come nowhere near to being a monumental player for us.

I think you're all being a tad harsh on Edin...He's been monumental for us and scored some very important goals...That AGUEROOOOO moment wouldn't have come about without his equalizer...as far as i'm concerned I wish him luck wherever he goes

One moment in time that's all and he was paid very well for it.
Last game of the season when he couldn't be bothered to take his hands out of his pockets summed him up........fukin lazy

He's got a near 1 in 2 strike rate for City...considering he's been predominantly a 3rd choice striker i'd say that was pretty fucking impressive...and i'm not even a Dzeko fan as such

Ah so his lack of effort is forgiven because he can score from 5 yards. Not for me thanks. His record of putting it in the net and that only is ace but strikers really have to offer a little more these days.

I've no idea where those comments have come from and whether they're a true reflection on what Dzeko actually said but no City player should be saying anything to potential targets that would make them choose not to come here. Certainly not in the media. Sterling has said about how Joe Hart talked positively about the club, the fans and the facilities and that was a factor.

As with any job, if you know someone at another company you ask about what it's like to work there. If they say "you're probably better sticking put for a while" you might listen. Fortunately with De Bruyne he's got a couple of Belgian's at City probably strongly pulling him to the club. One being about the most influential Belgian in football and our club captain.

No it isn't, he's bang on. Edin's turned into a right bitter c*nt.The quicker he's f*cked off the better.

Real rotten apple.

Turned into a bitter ****? Always has been in my book. He's this generations Le'sulk.
Sulks if hes not playing. Plays, gets pushed off the ball in the first 10 mins and sulks the entire match.
Horrible touch as well.

Just get rid ffs!

2 seasons ago he scored 26 goals for us...season before that 15...season before that 19

Like I said...he's been a good servant to the club and I thank him for the goals he's chipped in

Ok and with effort he could of score another 50% on top of that. Fuck me if we want to get to the top level we have got to stop accepting performances like Edin quite often offers.
