Miralem Pjanic reveals Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has a ‘positive view of Roma’, and hopes he’ll arrive.
The Giallorossi are looking for a striker, with the Bosnian international believed to be their main target, though City’s €30m asking price is prohibitive.
“I don’t have to convince him of anything,” the stiker’s compatriot Pjanic told Roma Radio.
“He knows about Roma, I often talk with him. I hope he will [move to Roma], he has a positive view of Roma, we’ll see what happens in the next few days.”
Pjanic also reflected on today’s friendly victory over Real Madrid in Australia, with the Lupi emerging triumphant on penalties.
“It’s always nice to win, in any way, today it was on penalties. I think we played well, we were well-organised and we worked hard.
“We won, so it was a good way to continue our preparations. It’s always nice to play against great teams, it’s a good atmosphere when you face top players who are competing for trophies every season.”
