Can anybody explain why he would be given even 15 minutes today if he is going ? . His fitness would not be our concern and seems pointless as we wasted an opportunity for match fitness for someone who is part of our plans.

He is staying

Maybe Roma see sense and no longer want him, leaving nobody else stupid enough to want him. Means he's staying.

*Awaits the uproar*

Bit harsh to say you cant wait to Dzeko to leave....hes an absolute club legend and has an amazing record. I am all for using Kelechi next year but to say cant wait is a bit harsh. I have nothing to say about Jovetic im sure he was bought based on his Fifa 13 potential.
No one frustrated me more last season, with the chances created for him there is no reason he shouldn't get 15 goals in all comps. On top of that he has a moody face and has no heart for a fight. The biggest frustration is he has all the talent to be world class as we all saw against Spurs but his application is on par with a semi pro player. He misses chance after chance and then score the difficult one. Fernando is poor but he runs himself into the ground. Dzeko doesn't. I know this isn't a popular opinion but hey!!!!

He is staying
If he stays then it's a very poor move on our part. From what I've read of the offers coming in for him we should be snapping Romas hands off at anywhere near £15 million.
Keeping an unhappy striker who's likely to play a bit part on huge wages wouldn't make any sense at all.

I think he's going though for what it's worth.

If he was to stay it would be terrible. Not only do I not rate the lazy sulking twat but we need to free up some foreign spaces to allow us to get another CM in.

Don't think I could bear another season of his lack of desire, work rate and attitude. Take the money and run.

He'll always be remembered as something of a legend to me, even allowing for his many 'down' periods. He played a significant role in City's turn around as a club, & imo that should always be remembered, irrespective of his moods etc, & he should be welcomed back whenever he comes to visit or play against us.

Thanks Edin & I hope you score plenty at Roma, but not if you play v us.

But please do 1.
