In some ways I'll be sad to see him go as he some great spells as well as some appalling performances. He had a habit of scoring important goals for us (Notts County, QPR and a load in 2013/14). He also had many games when he had stinkers and scored or other he played brilliantly and didn't score. For his size he was never really a physical player a bit like Jon Dahl Tomasson.

He had a decent career with us but I can't help wonder if he didn't quite have the impact with us that he should.

174 games - 72 goals. That is nearly a goal every other game for City; and yet some on here (most of you actually) think he is pants !

I will thank him when/if he goes.

Will always be grateful to the guy. Some very good performances like the four goals against Spurs and fastest goal at the rags. Important goals towards our two recent titles like the equaliser versus QPR, without which aguero 's winner would have meant nothing, and his goals in the second half of that season when negredo' s form collapsed, essentially sealing the title. His haters will always bag on him. He isn't perfect and has obvious faults but Cannot understand why people love to shit on him, and praise someone like milner to the heavens. We will still get a very decent return on him, for a striker close to 30yrs old, it's pretty good business. Whereas milner fcuked us off to join a hated PL rival on a free. All that BS about playing time and central position when it's clear he wanted to leave us. Anyway thanks dekzo I wish you well in whichever foreign league you will be playing in.

I watched the 11/12 season DVD the other day and Dzeko's performance at the start of that season; particularly his performance away at Spurs when we won 5-1, was extraordinary. However since then he's been a shadow of his former self. He's very much a confidence player and with Aguero in the squad he's never going to start. I'd take £14m for him but to be honest if he gets back his confidence and form, he's easily a £25m + player.

Lazy fecker lately...
yes, scored some 'heavy' goals but at our level of aspiration, we need players at the top of their game and effort level 95% of the time
good luck mate, but we can do better now

I like Edin and certainly don't think he's pants in terms of ability and he's been an important part of the trophy wins in the last 5 seasons but he's always left me thinking there was more to come from him than we've ever seen. He's also an irritating player at times when he wanders around the pitch with that smacked arse expression on his face.
