Good player. Poor mentality. A few more in the squad that are in the same mould. Hopefully they will also be on their way soon too. Appreciate the contribution to the journey, your stop is up - please take your belongings with you and good luck.

His first touch let him down quite often and for a big guy he was a tad lightweight for the premiership. He may well be suited more to the Italian style. As others said he did score some key goals but I thought when we first signed him he would be better than his performances last season.

A couple of critical goals really? Goals vs Everton, goals vs villa and crystal palace in the run-in. Goal vs qpr. Goal vs west brom. Goal vs Real Madrid (at first) need I say more?
Don't forget his first goal in a City shirt. The equaliser against Notts County in the FA Cup that we went on to win.

Goodbye and good luck big fella. Many important goals in between the miscontrols and yes, occasional sulks. But when on-form and properly fed, you could be fucking deadly.

All the best to you wherever it may be. And as others have said; without your header in 2012, we never experience the "Aguueeerroooooooooo!!!" moment that lit up our lives. So thanks again.
And give us a wave if you come back, willya...?? :)

+1

My ''allegiance'' has nothing to do with the fact that some people (like yourself, probably) here are being ungrateful pricks to the guy...
Guy whose goals (60 plus of them) helped you to two fuc*ing titles. That's all I'm saying...show some class, eh?

Back to my point - it is now obvious Edin's time at City is up...which makes his no-show in friendlies a logical thing. We just don't know WHERE yet, but its DONE...
Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.

The time is right for Edin to move on. He has served us well and has shown us both brilliance and frustration. It would have been nice for him to return some loyalty on the last game, but that will soon be forgotten.

City, we move onwards and upwards. Thanks Edin for your contribution to the momentum we now have and good luck wherever you play next

Weird, i have never taken him and think we will be a better and more balanced team without him, but I will be genuinly sad to see him go.

Sulking tw@t at times with a horrible first touch but as instrumental to our success as anyone.

Good luck wherever you go Bosnian Diamond!

Can we have some technical fifted entertainer as no. 10 now? Never liked that number on big target men
