Dzeko's celebrations

I thought he had a great game against fulham, one of his best in a long time he won most of the high balls put to him even against hangeland, deserved the goal and a start against villa

Very very true. ^^

he doesn't get stick at games.

he's one of the most supported players in terms of fans singing his name and getting behind him.

i doubt very much he reads here.

Now I'm really not trying to start trouble or anything. just want to point out something I've noticed. The last 3 times Dzeko scored he doesn't celebrate the way he usually does by running with his arms spread and celebrating with the fans. I've followed Dzeko's career for years and have never seen him celebrate differently until the last 3 goals he scored. For whatever reason, he is more subdued, almost like he's carrying a huge burden and chooses to celebrate with his teammates. I think this shows how frustrated he's been, and perhaps that he hears too much shit from SOME fans who think that 17 goals for City this year are somehow not good enough and needs to be rid of. I honestly think there is something to this. The good thing is that his teammates like him and there is true team spirit about this squad. Look at the way Balo went crazy yesterday when Aguero assisted Dzeko for the 3rd goal.

let me say, i dont think edin is perfect but hey who is.

there is not one other player that gets the same noise level of support that edin gets, whether it is just easier to sing his name than aguero, silva, or balotelli or not. i bet all of the three mention wouldnt mind edins level of support.

please dont confuse the ramblings of bluemoons few as the feeling of city fans in general.

He is such a decent man, always wanting to give praise to whomever it was who set up his goal. But he clearly is lacking confidence; the chance he had after just a few minutes, he should have taken a shot right away, like any confident striker would, but instead hesitated and lost the great opportunity. But confidence will come back as long as he gets regular starts.

You can see how important the Wigan goal was for him, he screamed like it was a massive weight off his shoulders, he is trying to hard and needs to relax and his performances will improve!
