E-cig's

I know a few of you have switched to these and i have waited for the cig companies to find anything bad with them and they can't, even with the funds they have.

So could someone recommend me which one to get please or know of any deals with refills etc.
What flavours are tolerable ? how much is each 'toke' equiv to ?.
I would preferably like a robust one so if i'm drunk and drop it then i'm not cigless.

I don't care if i look sad, i need to quit and i can start by removing the 1000+ chemicals between me and my nicotine hit.

Agree with this. I started a week ago and whilst ill happily use it in a pub, in a restaurant ill refrain or go outside. A mate told me someone at his work is doing it at his desk. The more people throw it in people's faces that its not doing any harm the quicker laws will come in under the banner "unsure of the effects at this time"

We even have to drink out of a plastic cup if we dare to step outside. I'll relax now and have a toke on my e-cig, my kids are in bed and I'm sat on my couch but I'll await the knock on the door.

I think it's selfish because it starts the whole debate about encouraging kids etc, it can still lead a youngster towards cigarettes, now tell me that's a good thing, seeing as you're a parent of youngsters surely you can see this.
I don't even have kids, so I'm not on a mission as some sort of crusader parent. So you use e-cigs, I take it you're a reformed smoker then, did you smoke around your kids, probably not eh?

Thing is I really don't fit the stereotype you paint above, far from it mate, I do care about others welfare though, especially children since I was one once, I also care about my continuing right to use e-cigs in a responsible way, surely you can see that swanning round a fuckin supermarket with one on the go while your kids are in tow is definitely not the way to behave, or have I got it wrong?

If these things do get outlawed for any reason then that's probably me back on the fags, so I'll carry on showing a bit of decorum and using my e-cig responsibly.

fair do's pal, I never smoked in front of my kids and one of the reasons I wanted to give up because my 6 yo was noticing and I didn't want to encourage them to smoke, I also don't use my e cig in front of them but that's my choice. BUT as they grow up they'll see people do a lot of things and its up to them and the education we give them to make the right choices. Imo if the guy wants to toke on his e-cig in front of his kids its his choice and he has to make sure his kids realise that nicotine is highly addictive and shouldn't be touched, in the end they'll do it or won't. I don't think vaping will become "cool" like smoking became, if young people want to look cool they'll still choose cigs.

Looks like I've started a bit of handbags with this one. Just to clarify, I wasn't asking coz I wanted a crafty toke in the bog, just about the rules regarding carrying an electrical item in my hand luggage
