I'm glad I did though it would appear that we have less to worry about than the news headlines would have us believe :)

Yeah as I thought all media hype on a slow news day. My daughter was panicking about it because we told her bird flu was all hype and nothing to worry about then she ended up in hospital in isolation being nursed for it when she was pregnant. Scary times

Scary times indeed - hopefully all turned out okay in the end

It did thanks but now she keeps sending me links about all these scary stories. I'll point her to this thread and the last few lists to put her mind at rest

The fear is there has NEVER been Ebola in the States before. For some reason the govt has decided two bring 2 cases in country.

At least one of these cases was wearing a full hazmat suit when contracted. It is thought the patient fucked up somehow but nevertheless, let the poor sorry fuckers die in Africa instead of risking a horrible epidemic that will spread thru the 1st World.

BTW if it starts in the States it is only a very short amount of time before it is in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Paris, Berlin, etc...

Horrible decision by Obama and the U.S. govt to bring these two to the 1st world.
