I know what you mean....But Jesus,before his two serious injuries,was,in my opinion,one of the most exciting forwards I've ever seen play the game.I hope he turns out to be good, I am a bit wary of the all the latest worlds best young talent that we buy ending up at Arsenal.
You have to think back to those times,.....before the destructive knee injury.,..the lad was class.pure quality.Brazils no.9 no less....and Brazil is a big country....he rose to the very top,went to. City,and i remember him
Scoring proper centre forward headed goals ,as well as dazzling skills on the floor. He was pure magic.
Then came the injuries ,and being forced to run and press the defence for 90 mins..under peps orders..like a Paul dickov...,..
It is,imo,no wonder,he never achieved the heights he could off
But early Jesus,uninjured..,.was electric.in my eyes anyway.....
A fantastic player ,who suffered the same injury,as Paul Lake,but came back....
Do not forget the hard yards this young lad put in for City!
