It's in France Football parroted by talkSPORT. Probably all gossip, Arsenal won't pay £30m for him surely.

Never say never.

Regarding Hazard coming to City, I read the article and there was no quotes from agents, insiders, closed sources or directors which let me down !

Him, De rossi and Samba would complete our squad imo and we should do all we can to sign them in January.

Hazards price has skyrocketed over the last year. If we made a bid for him, I think Lille would want £50 Million or so. We don't really need him TBH.

I thought they were looking for 30 Million, which is cheaper than Berbatov or Andy Carrol.

They are looking for about $50 Million.

Seems here it is around £28 Million

I think Hazard is too much of a hot property at the moment for us to get a good price for him, especially as we pay the 'oh look it's man city hike the price up' tax.

He does look class though, if we somehow managed to get a good deal it would be great.

After signing Nasri and extending AJ's contract, I don't think City are after any attacking midfielder.

I really like the look of Hazard, he's the calibre of player that would suit the project we have at City now... But he isn't in the position I think we're looking for.

We need someone to compete in Yaya's role, he plays a lot of games and someone to share the weight of a full season in that position is whats needed....
Who? I dunno.... de Rossi?

even if you sell AJ there still isn't enough games for someone like Hazard.
We wouldnt sell aj anyway, left footed wingers are hard to come by ,as for hazard hes exactly what we need and the type of player we should be buying .

One thing we could do if we had Hazard is rest Silva more and play Nasri + Hazard to compensate for the lost genius, as the two are both capable of creating chances (and scoring). I tend to agree there might not be enough games for a player of that quality but part of me looks at Johnson not getting games and wonders if that is because he just isn't trusted enough by Mancini, not because of a lack of games.

Not true. We play with two strikers, two attacking mids and two center mids. You need three starters at each position. We only have Nasri and Silva. Hazard would make it three. rotate them and they all get around 40 games per season. He also can play up top so he would serve as the fourth striker if we run into injury trouble there. Milner can move back and solidify the CM spot making De Rossi or any other CM superfluous (unless we do something like move De Jong in January).

Push Nasri to the CM position, and let Hazard takes the winger/atttacking midfielder position.
