Eventually he settled on England and narrowed his flirtations down a little bit. The way he's handled this has been laughable, but his agent is brilliant. I don't care how talented he is. There's always a better player.

What can he do if the press sends him everywhere ? Rumors to Arsenal, Spurs, Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Milan and Inter were all based on nothing, or something said by the BUYERS, who say somehow they are interested by Hazard. But if you look carefully, you'l notice that Hazard never said anything about any clubs, ever. What can he do then ?
For example every french media sent him to PSG this summer based on a sentence supposedly said by a "close source", but during the whole thing Hazard was overseas and didn't even know that PSG was interested !
He wanted not to say anything to no one until the very end. It's his way to deal with the press, because he's always been a bit shy and prefers to express himself on the field. But because of the title last year and the upcoming transfer, the press have been crazy on him. They wouldn't leave him alone, so at what point he was almost compelled to make a compromise and narrow possible destinations to satisfy the press...
And since then they keep harassing him, everytime he tries to reject them gently, but he's not very good at it. Between the exageration of the press and the fake interviews all over the internet, what can he do ?

I don't even want him. Attitudes like that are poisonous. Chelsea won the CL with grit, determination, luck and most importantly, team unity. Players like Hazard only care about themselves, like Robben and Ribery on the night; the star players with the magic touch, whose selfishness ultimately cost their side the cup.

You don't know anything about Eden Hazard mate. It's useless to deny it, this quotation is a proof already.
I have watched Hazard grow up and develop for five years now, i have followed him since his first match with the pros, because as everyone else i spotted genius in him. And he is nothing like you describe him.

Although he started very young and was very soon put a lot of pression on him (by the fans and the press), he never changed his path, and always listen to the good people and followed the wise advice. He does not have a surdimensionate ego, and i am sure he will blend perfectly in whatever team he will choose. On the field and in the group.

He is not arrogant, he has never been. He just doesn't want to speak to the press until a certain deadline. That's his decision and he has been repeating this over and over since january but the press wouldn't listen.
They keep asking him, so every time he has to use hackneyed phrases and avoid the question.

If you talk shit about Hazard when a Lille supporter is in the room then this is what your gonna get. @Lille he has made a name for himself and has been one of their greatest player. I would even go as far as saying that he's the best player that ever put on a Lille shirt. They worship him @ Lille and have absolutely no doubt he will succeed no matter what club he goes to.
Ask any Lille supporter what they think of Hazard and they'll all say the same "A genius" He made his debut @the age of 16. Won a starting spot @ the age of 17 and in those 4 seasons that he played he won the most talented player of the year twice in a row and won the best player of the year twice in a row aswell. He lead them to the titel (had been over 50 years) and cup. He topped it off this season by pulling Lille to a third place and CL football.(20 goals and 16 assists) involved in over over 50 % of all their goals.
This season he was the only player who stayed while the whole world thought he would leave. He extended his contract last season giving Lille a stronger bargaining position. He could have easily just said fuck you to all the fans and club and let his contract run out. (if he didn't sign a new extensionhe would have had only only 1 year left on his contract and could have gone on the cheap and ask for bigger wages but he didn't.

Also people saying he's being disrespectfull to his team. It's actually the opposite he's just being 100% honest with them. Put yourself in Lille supporters shoes. Would you prefere 1 of your players keeping you on a leash constantly saying i might stay, i might stay, i might stay and then @ the end go oh yeah i'm leaving. Hazard is already a legend @ Lille.

Exactly! In Mancini we trust. If he wants, am sure he will get, but there are plenty of other options out there. They may not be "only 21", but they could do a job for some years before the next "superstar" becomes available and hopefully they will be begging to join us when we have won more trophies in the meantime.

Hazard may never of said anything, it's his agent that's been doing all the talking.

First of all "soon" doesn't have an exact time.
Fact is also that the situation could have changed.
Don't think city and united were that heavily linked with Hazard @that time so if your a player and you have an offer from Tottenham and then suddenly City and United get involved you'd probaly wanna think it over and hear out what the other teams have to say no ?
