Looking at it from a Belgian perspective there is no inherit added value to putting De Bruyne and Hazard toghether, they can play toghether well enough but there aint no apparent extra chemistry. Vertonghen, Alderweireld and Dembele in a defensive triangle comparativly gives loads of added value.

Yeah in principle we are rich and we can buy whoever we want. But what if putting all those stars toghether doesn't really yield as we would have liked and we still end 4th? Who knows it might actually require to buy somewhat cheaper plays that fit well toghether as a team to win the prices, i thing you understand we wouldn't win with the 10 best number 10's and strikers in the world in our team even if that would probably make the most expensive of all teams ever.
