Chelsea have proven they are willing to sell at the right price to anyone, their model is very simple and has been effective. They will sell Matic to get a younger player in like Bakayoko for example.
200mil for Hazard enables them to go out and get Dybala or whoever else and they will weigh up their statistical output and go from there.
Not even remotely comparable. Matic was just another squad player in their team, United offered crazy money for an aging player and they felt they had already secured a better replacement in bakayoko so let him leave. Hazard is the best player in their team and whilst i dont believe it, it's arguable he's the best in the league. There's zero chance they allow him to go to a premier league rival. Wouldn't even get to the discussing fee stage regardless of how big we were willing to go.

I don’t even think there’s any indication we’ve put a bid. We wouldn’t go after him now, it will be in the summer.

Imagine if Chelsea wanted to sign kdb would we even think about accepting a bid. That's the way they view our intrest in hazard.
