Eden Hazard

I would take Hazard any day at 27. Imagine if Pep is able to improve him and get him on board with the team ethic. What a player we'd have.

I think Chelsea would be mad to sell him to PL rival though which is why I don't think it will happen.

It would be a dream come true if we can pull this one off.On his day he is one of the best players in the world.

So he says that he believes that being a top scorer etc. means you have to be selfish which he isn't.

But I can see Pep telling him to be selfish and try scoring more (which he definitely has the ability to do) because we sure could use some clinical finishing in UCL games.

The supposedly egotistical maniac Hazard also thinks working for the team is a better thing to do than looking for individual glory. That is exactly what is needed at City and under Pep.
Well said. Hazard's problem is he's not selfish enough, seems to lacks that greedy 'ego' that energizes the best strikers. Ironically enough, Pep's task would be to make him less of a team player :)

I think Hazard can play LW (like Sane) and AM (like David Silva) so bringing him in gives us good depth in both positions.

If we have fullbacks (Mendy) out wide, then Hazard can play as an inverted LW through the center.

If we have fullbacks inside (Delph), Hazard can play David's role as the attacking focus in the midfield.

Mahrez would be a great buy, but I question whether we need depth on the RW. Mahrez only makes sense if Bernardo plays more through the middle, which I haven't seen Pep try once this season.

+1. Would be an almost ideal 'false 9', lots of similarities between him and young Messi. The only thing EH needs to sort out is his productivity in the final third, and Pep is the right type of a coach to help him.

Those who think any of City's current attackers is better or on par with Hazard are simply delusional.

If he is so perfect as a false 9 why has he always been dreadful when he's played there for chelsea?

If he thinks working for the team is more important than individual glory why does he never press? why does he never track back? why has he gone missing for two full seasons?

I'm assuming you pretty much completely disregard how Pep changes players with his coaching even if they have NEVER played in a position before? There's literally only one manager who's used the false nine position in his team to great success right now and we have that one manager to coach a brilliant player like Hazard to do that IF at all he's needed to play in that position.

Another one which again is a load of bollocks, even if we where interested and hazard also, there’s no way chelsea would sell to us,more likely to move abroad if wanting out ..

Did Sane track back before? Did Aguero? Did David Silva? How can you just completely disregard the changes big players have made in our team under Pep? Why is it so hard to get that Hazard is fully capable of changing once he's at City lol? You talk as if he's a player on Fifa who'll never change from what he is at Chelsea.
