Eden Hazard

Don’t understand how can anyone want Raheem over Hazard? Hazard has delivered in this World Cup, Raheem has been one of England’s least impressive players,

Raheem has cost England and City numerous missed goals due to poor finishing and passes.

Hazard is an absolute elite level player and would help us go to a higher level
How many goals or assists has hazard achieved during this world cup?

Without having any need to compare Hazard to anyone; he is an absolutely fantastic footballer, and would walk right into our starting XI, and pretty much any other starting XI in the world.

That's beside the point. It's arguable that sterling would walk into most sides in the world. The point I'm seeking to clarify is why is an evaluation of sterlings performance at the world cup being based on chances missed etc, when the comparator at the same competition from what I recall hazard is yet to score a goal or assist, yet is being touted as the answer to City's attacking line up. It doesn't stack up?

See Sterling vs Liverpool for mental toughness

See Sterling being attacked and racially abused on the morning of the Spurs game and still turning out to play that evening and scoring two goals for mental toughness. FFS.

Being kicked in the leg will usually break a man tbf.
And unfortunately you'd be hard pressed to find a professional black player who hasn't been subject to racial abuse during their careers.
See the shit Balotelli gets from his own fans and he still pulls on that Italy shirt.

Sterling basically curls up into the fetal position every time we play Liverpool.

Where does this Hazard to replace Raz comes from? Raz plays on the right, and Hazard natural position is on the left. If we ever decide to buy Hazard its for him to rotate with Leroy and not with Sterling.

It doesn’t. I was making the general point that Sterling would not be scared by competition from any new forward we signed. Perhaps Mahrez more pertinent. And anyway, several of our wide forwards may well be asked on occasions to play through the middle next season.
