Reality.

De Gea, Oblak and Ter Stegen save Son’s shot last week. Ederson is better than the first two for this City team, but his skillset is very much exclusively useful to a team that requires an extra player with gloves on that doesn’t concede that many shots. He wouldn’t survive at any other top club that demands actual goalkeeping excellence.

He should/will follow Pep to Juve or PSG when he goes, because he’d be brutal under anyone else. Zach Steffen has a higher ceiling anyway, and will be our number one by 2021 either way.

Definitely better that Dihno. Aguero also is in line. I think he is a step behind Sterling and Bernado though I'd rate Laporte and Ederson similarly. Given a choice though, I'd lean Ederson. Just my view.

Went by his leg and he didn't save it. I hate when folks pretend they know what shot another keeper would have saved. It's silly.
