Personally would execute the buy-back clause for Trafford, especially with Ederson giving us no indication of signing a new deal.

The incentive would be if there’s a decent fee offered,if he has intention of staying beyond next season.

Not as a number one surely? Sounds like Napoli were trying to get Eddie last week and we were in negotiations so it does seem we are getting a new goalkeeper

i don't know what the source is like for barca but it wouldn't thrill me the signing but does look like there's movement starting to happen

No but its sensible, it would allow us to have a 23 man squad only needing 6 HG players and 17 non HG. We could use one of the non HG spots on a more valuable position within the squad. By using a non HG on a second choice keeper, it means we can only have 16 others and its easier to find non HG at our level than HG and also means we wont have to overpay on the likes of a Livramento.

Pep wanted him instead of Bravo back in 2016 so I can see the logic in it, then again that was nearly 10 years ago. Surely a younger keeper would be prioritised.

Personally i think people are undervaluing Ederson and we will only miss him when he is gone so Id rather he signed a new deal and was kept on.

time for him to move on, a distraction every season we can do without, be better for all parties, been a top keeper for us tho
