I'd prefer to keep Ederson for another season, sell Ortega, and get James Trafford in.
The oddest thing is Ederson seems to be only attracting interest from Galatasaray, a big club in Turkey, for sure, but if it's such a mistake to be getting rid of him, why aren't top clubs lining up and especially at the price I've seen quoted, which frankly is shockingly low.
I don't disagree tbh but 3m?Ederson of a few years ago would've had every top team in Europe keen to sign him and also pay serious money.
He was a breath of fresh with his distribution.
However, he has regressed massively, he doesn't look interested ( maybe just his style ) his goal to shot ratio is appalling for a top notch keeper, he very rarely gets even close to saving a penalty.
I'd like a few more quid for him, but no one is kicking doors down for his signature.
Not sure if Trafford is the answer, not seen enough of him.
You’re not alone. That would be a good solutionI'd prefer to keep Ederson for another season, sell Ortega, and get James Trafford in.
Excluding those signed/coming in this summer, which signing has improved the starting 11 and made it better? Who has truly flourished? Gvardiol and maybe Marmoush?
This is after the best part of £400m spent.
WIth regard to Trafford his only Premier League experience was a season in which he ended up dropped and his team relegated. It's hard to be optimistic about this signing given the recent track record and when he's replacing our most successful ever keeper - and at that one who has the proven skillset to play for us at the level we want to get back to.
Prefer Eddie to stay and Ortega goes with Trafford coming in
Just can’t see Trafford coming as a number 2 or Eddie being second choice
Ortega and Eddie leave then we have to trust 2 new GK
Might have to play all 3 together if we don’t sign a proper RB3 new keepers.
In fairness he could have had a brick wall in front of him and he would have conceded an avalanche of goals keeping nets for that lot.Excluding those signed/coming in this summer, which signing has improved the starting 11 and made it better? Who has truly flourished? Gvardiol and maybe Marmoush?

Not just internet trolls, it's also those losers sticking Charlie up their nose half way through a game in the south stand toilets. Can't make excuses and immediately blame the tourists on the internet. We hear it in the stands every week by our own local supporters.Ignoring the fact that these rumours of him wanting to leave have persisted far, far longer than last week, do you really think any professional at this level is making career defining decisions because of a few internet trolls?
It wont even register with them. You have to have an elite mindset to play at the very top, nobody with an elite mindset would be even slightly triggered by a social media troll to want to move. I doubt theres ever been a situation where a player at this level has left somewhere because of fan abuse. Xhaka at arsenal is probably the worst treatment of any player i can think of in recent memory and he didnt go anywhere. You're giving way too much importance to something thats not even worth mentioning.
Some of that I agree with, but you can't just immediately blame fans from the other side of the world. You hear this stuff or worse in the stands by the locals. The vast majority of those were not really City fans, the cesspit that is X shows you the demographic of abusers are fans from other countries that have jumped on a winning brand, that brand is currently City.
They hang off the words of bullshitting fan accounts, which agitate them in this direction for clicks and money.
I did say vast majority tbfSome of that I agree with, but you can't just immediately blame fans from the other side of the world. You hear this stuff or worse in the stands by the locals.
Imagine that, a yellow and a peno for heading the ball.
Elf n SafetyYou just know they'll do it one day. All in the name of'entertainment'.

Don't think that's strictly true.
We soent the same in Kushanov, he is not our no.1 defender. Spent even more on Gonzales, not the first choice in his position. I could go on.
The club will see value in the transfer, and while I agree they wouldn't spend say 80m on two keeprs in one window, there is also no reason Trafford's fee means they can't get another keeper for a similar or higher fee, if they wanted to. After all, we would be in this same position next year if both Eddie and Ortega stayed, with their contracts expiring at the same time.
