Ederson looks to be nailed on to become a City player. Great news!
Keepers are curious - top keepers (Cesar, Casillas, and to a much lesser extent Buffon) are world class and then hit a big or massive dip in form. The same thing seems to have happened to Bravo - top keeper for sure and then falls apart and becomes a liability in goal for us following his transfer.
I really hope that Bravo is able to overcome his current lack of form and return to top form. But if not, we have Ederson as a more-than-capable replacement.
Yes, I expect that Bravo will be our #1 at the start of next season - but Ederson will be a hugely talented replacement should Bravo slip up.

OtOH, curious that we were able to sign Ederson just before the world cup - he'd need to play, one would think, to remain Brazil's #1 in 2018 - perhaps we guaranteed that he'd start in all non-PL games?
