I posted this news in another Dzeko thread yesterday - it was all over the news in Bosnia, as it should be.
People in these situations say "o, he has money, its nothing to him" - but that's very hypocritical and everyone should look at THEMSELVES.
There are thousands of players making millions - you rarely hear about gestures like what Dzeko did. There are several Bosnian players making shitloads of money - but none scratched their butt for little Alen.
When Tsunami hit Indonesia in 2000-something killing 300,000 people - NBA didnt manage to raise fucking million dollars...equivalent to Shaq's by-weekly salary at that time...
And each one of us too - how many times, for different reasons, we escavate giving money (be it even smallest amount) for a good cause...even if ITS NOTHING TO US??
Just one of the reasons Edin is much appreciated in Bosnia - apart from being a great striker, he is just a top, top person.
