Right monkeys; I'm on my Jack Jones in Edinburgh tonight and tomorrow night due to work. Any tips on where to go, what to do, where to eat etc?

Leith Fort was knocked down a couple of years back.

But go to Leith and drink in Vintage and the Malt & Hops among other things. Or the Hanging Bat in town.

If you like seafood , try the Mussel Inn on Rose street (top end Waverley station end).
