Exactly. Lot of clubs have been in contact with him but he is asking absurd wages for his age and talent. He is not the 27/28 y.o Cavani anymore.

IMO with uncertainty over Sergio's fitness and Jesus's lack of consistency, we would be foolish not to look at a clinical finisher to strengthen our squad. I don't know whether Cavani is that player? We miss more opportunities than any club in the PL. Hopefully our defence is getting sorted with Dias and maybe a LB? If we want to challenge for the top silverware we need cover throughout the squad.
