EDL in Manchester, March 2nd

The EDL, mainly wolves and Bristol city fans came to Cardiff a couple years back to team up with the WDL who no longer exist, they were opposed by a lot of people and ended up stuck outside the town hall where hardly any bugger ever goes on a saturday so no march to speak of as such. They ended up chanting You're not English anymore at the predominantly Welsh crowd facing them. It wasn't even tongue in cheek stuff, they were serious. They've not been back so maybe the police explained that Wales wasn't actually in England and we didn't need their help to defend us from whatever it was we didn't need defending from in the first place.

I was undecided about attending the piss up, but the chance to lob onion bhajis and other foods of ethnic origin at some pasty skinned, spotty oiks is too tempting.

Most of what the EDL rant about is actually made up tabloid garbage. Usually stuff like flags or England shirts banned because of Muslims, it's a huge myth and the tabloids should have been brought to task over it.
