It's ironic really as the middle class have no idea and no cause to be racist. They live exclusively in area's that are occupied by other middle class people.

Think we're getting class and race mixed up here surely? The white middle class people in their nice leafy suburb can still hate the black middle class people in their nice leafy suburb. Or are you assuming all middle class people are white? Personally I'd argue that at that level, class is is more of a defining issue than race etc. Hence Obama isn't black, and Thatcher definitely isn't female. They have class issues to fight for that far supersede their supposed 'first black/female president/prime minister'.

I'm fully aware that there are different races in class, my point is that racism is less about creed and colour and more about the ignorant perception of how they perceive they live live outside the comfort zone.
