Unfortunate timing given the first team will still be in action against Arsenal when it kicks off.
So far in PL2, We have drawn 0-0 with liverpool and beat Blackburn 4-2. Also won 3-0 at Scunthorpe in the Papa Johns in midweek.
They have drawn both PL2 games so far, 0-0 v Leicester and 1-1 v Chelsea, and lost 3-2 at Lincoln in midweek. So we are the form team though we all know that can have little bearing in a derby.
Former City academy striker Charlie McNeill will be their obvious danger man. Also expect 90 minutes of diving, rolling, squealing and moaning from their hirsute, petulant midfielder Hannibal who was sent off late in midweek.

Not sure tbh, there were changes to the rules on cards in cup competitions a season or two back so it might only apply in that competition. But not 100% sure

Just checked and apparently red cards apply across all competitions so looks like he will be suspended

Will probably be with those ridiculously biased MUTV commentators from last season when we played them off the park with 10 men
