EDS Pre season Friendlies

Do we know who played, scored etc

A bit bizarre that there is a pre season friendly, and yet the club social media haven't mentioned it at all

Was it just a bunch of the kids that played?
 
Nice night. Good football from City's lads. The better team overall. The second goal especially was really nicely constructed.

Ended up sat next to Emile Heskey, who was watching his two lads. Was happy to chat with kids (and adults) asking for selfies.

Controlled possession for the majority of the match with Chorley often with 9 men at least behind the ball.

Mfuni was superb. Glided up the pitch on a run in the first half and long range shot just wide in the second half.

Deserved win 2-1 and on the play should have been more.

A strong experienced u21 side. I wonder how it will look after the transfer window. Ben Wilkinson mentioned some of the lads have passed u21 level but a lot of last years pl2 winners in that group. I think Mfuni looks ready for next step already as well

I think he is exceptional and could be with the first team squad this season despite his age.
