Its not so much sad as it is normal. Same for every youth team in every league in every country.
I think in the next two years we will have more homegrown players in the matchday squad than anybody else with 3 maybe 4 starters.
Its a supporters pipe dream to have the starting 11 made up of several youngsters but it's not based on reality most of the time.
Its usually just a stick to beat whichever manager is in charge at the time.
