5-0 down after 70 minutes! Sounds like an abysmal performance against a team that were almost relegated last season.

Sounds a proper bad day at the office. First game of a new season, so expect its the time to see and sort the problems out with the team !
Also what's with our "excellent" ! ,CityTV/+ can't they be arsed showing our EDS games this season ?
To busy making documents and filming training session !

They can’t show PL2 games if there is a PL game on at the same time, it’s an absolutely ridiculous rule

Very, very, young team of which a large number could still be playing u18, tough day at work.

It will be interesting to see how they adapt and if the club add in some older lads to balance it or stick with it.

Early days

These are basically ALL of our u18s promoted up at the same time.

There is almost no u21 from last season, so the experience at this level for this age group means it will be a rough start.

I didn't expect it to be this rough, but it's better for them in the long run to play against older players.

Our oldest payer was Micah Hamilton who is 20 in November. Spurs started with 6 players older than him so there was a massive gap in average ages of the teams

No excuses though. Although some of these spurs players should be out on loan now as 4th years. I believe the u18’s also got beat 5-1 by Chelsea yesterday

I know the Spuds result, it was the Chelsea U-18 I couldn’t find.
U18 was a friendly, wouldn’t read too much into it and wait and see how they look when the league starts. They beat Chelsea 2-1 the previous week, then lost 5-1 away according to Chelsea youth Twitter but I suspect both sides will be experimenting and getting minutes into legs of the whole squad.
