had a fairly poor season, though obviously very very young. burden of proof's on him, Rennes fans said his head was not there at all this season as he wanted out. personally don't like players who get too big on themselves that early in their career.

He was labeled a wonderkid really early, but hasn't shown enough, and he's not a regular at Rennes (his refusal to sign a contract may have played a role of course). Madrid are taking a gamble. We'll see how it works out. I don't think he would have played at all for City.

Unreal potential but last year in terms of "wonderkid" midfielders in Ligue 1 both Aurelien Tchouameni and Paper Sarr were better. Tchouameni was the most impressive in my eyes but he's about 2 years older than both.
