EE scammers

A good excuse to avoid speaking to people you don't want to though. Had a legitimate caller from an energy company mithering about a smart reader ,who kept misreading the surname, even when offered extra chances. Told him he was a scammer and put phone down despite knowing full well he wasn't.

The one I've been getting recently is housing repairs. When I get bored of speaking to them or listen to them whining on I usually ask if I can ask them a question and say "Do you enjoy doing what you do??" and when they reply (as they usually do) "What do you mean?" "Scamming people for a living!" usually gets them every time.

Just had one with a 0161 number. They generally put the phone Down when I tell them to go fuck their mum in their language. Apparently I had been involved in a car crash and she went into lots of details. Strange as I don't remember it and I don't have a car .
Just tell you were too pissed at the time of said accident to remember and wait until they blink.

Had one a while ago, some Indian chap, blustered a bit, um’d and ah’d, so I told him “fuck off you scamming twat” and hung up. A couple of minutes later, he calls again - I’m a foster carer on the side and it turned out he was an autism specialist wanting to visit my new guest, a wee bit of an awkward conversation after that!

If the number ain’t stored in my phone, it ain’t getting answered.

They can always leave a message or send a text if it’s important.
