weirdly the official EFL website of the Caribou cup shows them all being played on the Tuesday night

Spurs, Everton/Chelsea, Arsenal/Norwich will all be on the Wednesday as all of their league matches are on Sunday/Monday.

Donkeys and Leicester/Leeds (who are playing on the Friday afterwards) will be Tuesday.

That leaves City, Bristol/Palace, and Bournemouth/Boro.

Pep is right this cup is waste of energy. If you win it no one gives credit, in fact they mock you for mentioning you won a Mickey Mouse Cup and if do not win you risk injuring your players and take focus away from main competitions.
Should field all youngsters and only those who do not get any chance in regular team going forward.
