I think the media are under some sort of hold when it comes to Liverpool FC, Liverpool the city, and Scousers. It’s as if any anti-Scouse sentiment - even if it’s the truth - seems to be held up there with anti-Semitism.

It’s ridiculous. They’re a fanbase of feral mutants who are a disgrace to the country, yet nobody ever ever calls them out for it!

If City fans were booing the national anthem, it would have been mentioned live on air at the time, no doubt about it.

It would be yellow ticker on Sky News as well as SSN.
