I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Turn the volume off! I didn’t hear any of this nonsense. I also don’t watch the pundits. When I used to watch the dodgy foreign broadcasts I got used to not having a clue what they were saying. They could have been slagging us off for all I knew.

My favourite moment was when he said the big teams always get favoured (referring to ref decision) and then Neville saying, are you saying Spurs aren't a big team?

I don’t think I’ve ever heard this argument of “should have been sent off because he should have been booked for something he wasn’t earlier on”, ever made before in football.

Talk Sport coverage was brilliant today. All out positives, no issue with Laporte, even saying the first half was the most enjoyable half of football this season. Purring about City. Only downside was they felt Sterling was outstanding...

Don't have Sky, so it was Talk Sport or 5 live for me today.
Certainly a long way from being my favourite radio station, but as you say they were very fair and basically seemed to actually commentate on the game without lots of the usual 'barbed comments'.
Did mention our finishing could have been better (fair comment)but were very complimentary about how well City played . Ally Mcoist always comes across to me as someone who seems pretty rational and actually enjoys watching good football!!
