Is this still just on BT (or Sky) - i don't have any of them, i just have freeview TV.

Been to every league cup final, it's gutting for me and mum that we wont be there, so i'm wondering if anyone knows if city are going to try and get it shown for the 40,000 city fans who would have been there (surely we mustn't be the only fans who don't have/can't afford subcription TV as we spend that cash on being at the ground instead!), by either making it a free tv pass game, or trying to pressure a freeview channel to show it.

I know i'm probably wasting my breath, but i'm hoping :(

Instead of paying for a match ticket that would have cost 40-100 quid, transport 20-60 quid, food and drink on the day you can buy a Now TV day pass to watch it for less than a tenner.

I have my feckin concerns bout this match....Its them last chance to win something, more against the Champions.....

Supposedly plans to allow 8k in but made up of “local” nurses etc and a requirement for three negative tests beforehand. Sounds like a monumental waste of time and complete palaver for what will be non-fans. Will anyone bother?
Already been confirmed city fans can attend albeit it's going to be small numbers.
The leicester/Southampton game is solely local residents/NHS staff/charities etc limited to 4000.
The league Cup final will be 8000 and will include the above plus fans of both teams

yes i looked into that - to have NOW TV you need the right type of TV, i don't.

I've looked into that and also the monthly pass.

You've a computer don't you? Just get a cable to connect it to the telly, HDMI if supported, SCART otherwise.

It's not a laptop - it's a desktop PC in a different room to the telly. Plus i can't have my mum round here to watch it as she's housebound at the mo, ideally i need to be able to see it at her houase (i'm her bubble, i'm allowed to go, it;s just she can't get here)

Fair enough. Do you've someone you could borrow a laptop off?

not really, just trying to think of ways to sort soemthing, desperate to watch it with mum.

You can get Now TV on your phone, not as good as a TV but it's all I can think of!
