Just have to hope the dippers miss out too as that will set them back. They look in need of a few signings to me now. Firminio 30 this year and Mane and Salah next year.
 
Last week against Leeds and today has made a decision not to jump through hoops for this game much easier. With PSG in the week Pep will play a similar side to today, with the same performance and end result.

They’re just waiting for this new champions league format to kick in, won’t make any difference then, they’ll be given a place anyway ...
 
I’m expecting another toothless display from us to gift the Spuds a bit of silverware to get them giddy.

There is NO reason why we can’t beat these. Look at that display v Everton. They were awful, but you can bet they’ll be world class v us.
 
IMO this is a game too far for us in terms of team selection.
We have to go as strong as possible in the league and the CL.
That inevitably means a much weakened side in next Sunday's game especially as it's only three days away from the PSG gig.
Also it's very much the least ranked trophy and we've won it so many times in the last years.
