Traditionally keepers hog the goal line, increasingly they come way upfield and get caught out.

I still don’t understand who can exploit the rule and how.

We got done in the champions league with Sane's disallowed goal v Liverpool for the same rule.

That was wrongly ruled out though as Milner touched the ball last!

Was always if your in front of last defender your offside if your behind last defender your onside,what a load of bollocks,it is now,saying that my mind is definitely not what it used to be bugger ..

The rule is actually that there has to be two of the opposing side between you and the goal when the ball leaves the pssser's foot. 99% of the time, the keeper is the last man, so there only needs to be one outfield player required to play you onside. Not in this case, though.
