EFL Cup Games | 3rd Round | 16/17/23/24 Sept '25

What is the point in both showing the same game
Perhaps because most dippers don’t have jobs and can’t afford Sky Tv don’t you know. Liverfool isn’t a wealthy metropolis like Manchester and they’re all victims of the Thatcher conspiracy.

I would be livid as an Everton fan with that line up and result.
If Newcastle last season havent taught these teams on baron trophyless runs a lesson then nothing will ...............i dont get it they know that the sides in Europe may struggle to handle all them games butthey somehow arrogantly dismiss it

Never see n a team get so much luck in all my life. I really fucking hate them.
Book mark this because we will beat them in November. Scouse cunts
The thing is nobody will be around them should there luck run out :( City in transistion,Chelsea you dont know what they will do and Arsenal got a result against City so thats there season done

I would have thought it was pretty clear but I'm happy to help. Sky is a paid for service that not everyone has access to, often simply because they can't afford it. ITV, on the other hand, is a free to air service that everyone can access.
Sky are paying the broadcasts costs so whilst they have allowed ITV to also show the game it makes perfect commercial sense that they also do so they can raise revenue from advertising.
Also, dual broadcasting isn't unique, BBC and ITV often share broadcasting of certain games.

Port Vale vs Arsenal.

The only two teams in the English football league not named after a place.
Is that right? I always thought it was just Arsenal? Learned something tonight.

In other news, Cam Humphries, an academy graduate and the son of a good friend of mine lines up for Vale. He’s carved out a decent career for himself.

Lol bbc ......

0-1 Arsenal

Port Vale have seven touches in the Arsenal box which is apparently the same as what Man City had during the 1-1 draw at the Emirates on Sunday.

Arteta keeping Saka on who has just had a potential leg breaker of a challenge missed by the ref, and this after Madueke ruled out until Xmas.....

Should I stay up for the draw? Honestly couldnt be arsed.

Whatever you do don't watch 'highlights' of the Arsenal match. I've desperately been searching to see if there's a channel showing paint drying but sadly there isn't so I'll endure the final few minutes.

Port Vale are named after the Ports along the Trent & Mersey Canal, and perhaps for Port Vale House where they first met to form the club. Perhaps more accurate to say they don't reference the town in which they play (or originally played)

Crystal Palace. They apparently play in Selhurst, which is in the borough of Croydon. And which isn't referenced in their official name, only their ground. You could say the rags as well. Though I suppose you could say that Newton Heath is in Manchester.
