Remember going to Boro in 1980, still have nightmares.
Boro always had a great away support even in the 1980s, Southamptons has always been absolutely shite.
Both think they are hard nuts, the difference is that Boro are.

A mate of mine got caught by a bunch of boro fans down an alley way one year back around the 80s, didn’t end too well.
Never heard anyone having trouble in Southampton.
That business outside Wembley was embarassing. Small club mentality.

In 1980 Bosco Jankovic scored in the last few minutes to make it 2-2 so thought they would spare us.
Got outside and we stuck out like a spare at a wedding as we didn't have a cut here tattoo on our necks or a Boro tattoo on our foreheads.

In 2004 I went up with a mate for a Monday night SLY game. Went in a pub, ordered a couple of pints and walked round the corner into a room full of Boro. They had sussed we were City but were right as rain with us, all on banning orders and the pub we chose was the closest most were allowed to the Riverside. Couldn't help thinking that these were the same guys attacking the City fans in 1980.

Bizarrely the ball boy was correct. They are not supposed to give the ball directly to a player. The player should retrieve a ball from the cone!! Apparently to stop the home team gaining any advantage. Once again commentators not knowing what the fuck they are on about.

Boro frontline were well known everywhere in football, some right big bastards amongst them and took it everywhere. I have a mate who supports them, him and his daughter have followed them for years home and away. He's built like a brick shitehouse too lol.

Yes, lots of families from City taking their kids to Wembley for the first time as their only chance to do so.
If it had been the same support we took to the LC Final they wouldn't have been so brave.

Boro are nutters but have nothing to prove.

Yes, i wasn't sure it was used in the championship as well but it is.
