Just watching the Hull v Middlesbrough game and I’m seeing one of the more negative aspects of Pep’s influence on the game. Almost every team we play against adopts a 5 4 1 or 4 4 2 formation behind the ball in defence. Today Hull are going with the 5 4 1. It certainly makes for some dull football.
