Congratulations to Hull city on confirming their relegation to the Championshio next season.

That was a game Arsenal would be proud of, a diabolical watch.

Don't mind Hull being back, it's not an especially good one but it is at least a different area of the country for an away day. Wouldn't have minded Boro either but that's essentially just Newcastle/Sunderland away.

The old town is a cracking spot for a day's/night's drinking.

They'll enjoy the summer and the prospect of being a oremier league side but the new season will be a chore, nobody enjoys getting twatted every week, even if they haven't been in the top flight for a while and have no expectations.

Must say I admire Steve Gibson, Boro Chairman. Totally sporting again today with long, sincere handshakes with the Hull players. Gibson is a great steward and owner of his club, helping significantly in saving them from liquidation in 1986 and running them well for decades. He fights their corner really well too with injustices like Southampton's spying. Respect. If his team had a proper striker they would have gone up automatically.
