EFL Playoffs time

That Bolton goal had shades of Spuds first goal against us in the 81 replay, speculative shot that broke to their players several times.

It's a national disgrace that Northern club v Northern club on a Play Off Final happens in fucking London. Same again today with Stockport v Bolton. That game should be played up here. The FA are cunts and don't give a fuck about fans.
Yes, I'm sure they could book a northern ground at short notice after the semi-finals have taken place.
The swamp would be the obvious choice of venue for the final today as City are at home this weekend, but not if Stevenage had beaten Stockport.
Hull v Boro should have been staged at Sid James Park or SOL, but that wouldn't have worked had Millwall got through.
Notts v Salford should have been at the Fu-King Power or Stoke, and that would have been OK if either Chesterfield or Grimsby had won the semis.
Perhaps the EFL should start looking for venues based on the 3rd to 6th placed teams at the start of April but that won't happen if Club Wembley tickets include three play-off games.

The fans are the bloody problem: Fans who stop going to games just because the team they claim to support is unlikely to finish in the top three.
The play-offs were introduced to cut down on the "meaningless games" towards the end of the season, but an actual fan understands how promotion works and doesn't consider league games to be meaningless. Perhaps that's my bias as an ST holder who doesn't miss many games, but fans who only go to "meaningful games" are on a par with those who wear half 'n' half scarves.
Playoffs were a by-product of the push for the Premier League as lower division clubs risked a drop in income with the breakaway PL keeping more of the spoils .
