Bayern will do them both over.
I don't think they will this year. The reason they were so effective against Barça last year has disappeared. It was the way they counter-attacked Barça's possession football that was the key.

For me, one of the three Spanish clubs will win the CL.
I wouldn't right Bayern off so quickly. They are still Bayern with the best first 11 and squad. I think they would do Barcelona and Atletico, but it's Madrid they have to be concerned with due to Madrid's ability to counter-attack them.
Never discount a healthy Messi.

No RB in the world comes close to Dani Alves class.

Philp Lahm?
Pab Zab?
Lahm's not been much of a right back this season and Zabaleta is easily the best in the Premiership, but Lahm at his best stands out alone. Not only is he better than the other two defensively able to cope with Messi and Ronaldo, but also as brilliant in attack. Great crossing and fantastic in possession. Apart from Maldini have not seen a better full back.

-- Sun Mar 23, 2014 10:08 pm --

That's a valid point.

If Zlatan can get over his Champions League choking and play like he does in big league games then PSG have a shot too.

Ronaldo showing why many called him a Big Game Bottler in England.

He's improved in Spain, but he can't hang with Messi when the oven gets hot, he loses his cool (frustrations tonight and he looked like he was sweating buckets even from the start of the game) where as Messi is ice man.

Ronaldo apart from a bog standard penalty did F all and was worser than Bale for me, so much expected but didn't deliver when his team needed him most, he will have another chance in the CL and Copa final.

This being commentary and after match analysis is lightyears ahead, with the great Christian vieri to boot, top notch!!!
It is. NBC Sports is pretty good too. Rebecca Lowe and her crew know their stuff.

It gets better now

Kay Murray (:
Usually Kay Murray is in the studio wearing something impossibly tight and low-cut. ;)

I will be astonished if I ever see a player as good as Messi again in my lifetime, and I am only in my early twenties.

The man is a genius.

It's a privilege to be in the same era as him.

50 years from now we will say we saw the great Lionel Messi the best footballer of all time.

One night Barcelona dreamed a dream.
As they were walking along the beach with the referee
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from their season.
For each scene, they noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to Barcelona and one to the referee.

After the last scene of their season flashed before them,
They looked back at the footprints in the sand.
They noticed that at many times along the path of their season,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled Barcelona, so they asked the referee about it.
"Referee, you said once we decided to follow you,
You'd walk with us all the way.
But we noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of our season,
there was only one set of footprints.
We don't understand why, when we needed You the most, You would leave us."

The referee whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
