So sorry to see him go but I guess with all the players we have signed and still more to come we all have to be realistic.

Wish him all the best and am so glad he has not gone to another EPL team

its hard not to like Elano,however he failed to produce on a regular basis,too inconsistant for a top 4 side.Good Luck in Turkey!!!

i think it is fair to say we all loved elano for the instant impacct he made and the moments of brilliance he was able to produce! Unfortunately these became few and far between over time and for me ela needs to play wide right in a front 3 or just off the frontman!! Unfortunately for him we had players in those positions who were not only effective but also hard working.

This transfer sums elano up completely for me talk of going to arsenal, AC, Inter to then only end up at Galatasaray!! There is no doubting his ability but at ourselves and shacktar he has failed to command a regular spot and for all of us blues who rate him so highly and didnt want him to go a player in this economic climate with stupid fees going for £8m and for none of the top 4 to go for him or the big clubc of spain and italy speaks volumes!!

Good luck Elano you had moments of brilliance and i hope you fulfil your potential at Galatasaray!!

Ps who will do better in turkey Elano or Vassell? Lol

Tough contest, scores even, they get a free kick just outside the box..........

I agree however that he was a mercurial performer. His game against Hamburg showed his best. More than a few games showed a lot less.

Coming together it is, indeed. However I think we need to now replace Elano with a player of the same mould. If Bentley signs, I will go to COMS and abuse him! I can't see Hughes letting Elano go and not replace him, so my thinking is he has someone already lined up.

I really cannot believe what I read on this forum at times, talk about melodramatic. Maybe the Blightee could join a hari kari pact with Antmcfc.

Ela was and never will be in the class of those mentioned. I am sad to see him go, but he wasnt gonna get much of a look in next season and to be fair he goes missing in winter. A decent replacement and in a few months time it will be Elano who. Until then, thanks for the memories Ela and good luck, Gala fans, youve got a great player.
 
I'm only happy he's going if we get better in. For me he started ahead of SWP if both fit.

He's not a player you want in the squad for moral, so farewell Blumer!

why abuse him? we have had alot of players come to our club over the years who the militants didnt like but done a good job bellamy,peter scmeichel,andy cole
