Petulant fucker though, booked after a minute of being on the pitch, always waving imaginary cards around, dont like that.
He was quiet as a little mouse last season, just got on with it,whats changed this season ffs ???

he got booked for arguing which was stupid....however he was correct in what he was arguing about.......the ref gave a bad decision.....

i said it last season that elano can be a nasty bugger when he wants as well as a great footballer......

he played very well when he came on today

agreed he improved us......but for fuck sake, why with 15 mins to go was he strolling around with the ball, he takes too much time on the ball when he should keep it moving quickly....

the last 30seconds was prime example, passing left and right instead of forward....

Who should he of passed it two, the only options were Bridge and SWP - with the exception of when he found Robinho in the middle - all his balls into the middle were coming straight back out. Severe lack of height in the middle!!

He did do more in his 20 mins then everyone else combined for 90 though.

Wasn't enough to change the game but he certainly changed the pace for the better. Best player on our side in the second half ... gave us some great opportunities. Robinho missed way too many!!
Definitely agree - he was the one that got us moving today. Same no one else seemed to be that bothered.

The chant was:

Robinho. she said no.

Make your own minds up about what it referred to.

I did say on Opposition view that it would be loud, I hope you wasn't too disappointed.

Elano had the most creative passing, and I'm so tired of seeing the ball fly straight up in the air on a kick! I think Robinho tried harder because of the chanting but I don't know if it affected his finishing. Bellamy was the closest to being on target ... he gave some effort but really invisible mostly because he didn't get the ball too much and really whenever someone got the ball they didn't leave me impressed. No one was able to get free and create space except Elano and that was mostly with his passing!

Yea I would agree for the most part. It isn't always perfect and he does try to get the big chance ones though they don't always work. However it is super creative and super accurate! Really the only time it is bad is when he is off form or he is not getting support midfield and getting bullied.

The card waving thing was asking the referee if it wasn't a penalty then why didn't he book Micah for diving he's got every right to ask that and as for his booking he didn't even touch the player. At least Elano was getting involved and looked passionate about trying to turn it around he was fired up. His passing was excellent and was wasted by Robinho and almost everyone else. Some of the team looked like they shared a joint before the game compared to Elano's effort when he came on.
